My Ride: 2003 X5 3.0----->gone
2004 Porsche Cayenne S : Gemballa front and back bodykit, fabspeed bypass pipes, Gemballa exhaust pipes, full option, 20" factory sport design rims------>gone
2005 545i 6-spd manual---->de-badged, CDV removal, Autosolutions short shift kit, resonator removal, premium package, PDC, xenon, almost full options, hardwire V1 install ....looking for mods...
2007 550i 6-spd----> Premium package, sport package, Logic7, heated everything, Rogue Engineering SSK, CDV removal, hardwire V1 install, aFe cold air intake, Custom Magnaflow exhaust....
My ride is becoming harsher. Is it because the tires are gettin bald?? Or do I need to see my dealer? I hate seeing them because it takes a week to even get an appointment wi the service manager...

Do you have the Dunlop run flats? If so, then maybe it is the Dunlops. If the wear in on the inside, then I'd go to your dealer and try to get them replaced. They will need to have less than 20K miles to be replaceable. Check out this thread and the one I refer to on its page 2.

Aside from the distinct possibility that your Dunlops are worn, you may have an Active suspension/dynamic drive problem. When cornering, dynamic drive raises the pressure to the struts to give us the flat cornering. This pressure is increased using the power steering pump. When operating optimally the pressure is released after the corner. In your case the pressure remains high.
I had this problem and after many days of diagnostics going back and forth between my deaker and BMWNA, they changed the power steering pump.
I first realized that I had this problem because I would hear a clunking noise when the car approached bumps at a certain angles. They determined that the noise went away when disconnecting the AS fuse. That is how they isolated the problem to the Active suspension.
