Hi guys,
I was trying to close my sunroof in the morning, but the sunroof seems to be stucked when the outside
Temprature is cold. It was about 25 - 34 F. This happened 3 times in 2 weeks.
Is this normal guys?
Thanks,
Yoko.

What happens exactly? Does it not move at all? Does it stop moving before it reaches the closed position?

Thanks for the quick reply Rudy.
It worked fine when I tried to open it; but when I was trying to close it, it stucked.
It first moved until it touched the "rubber" around. and it just go away to the opposite direction (Open direction again).
Sorry, English is not my first language Rudy.
I have the video of it, but I don't know how to post a video in this forum.
Thanks,
Yoko.

Take a look at the following .pdf instructions for initializing the sunroof:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?autocom=ga...si&img=4517

I'm not sure if that will fix your problem but it's worth a try. If it doesn't work, then there may be something in the sunroof's track that needs adjusting or lubrication. (Something might be contracting in the cold temperatures and causing additional resistance when the roof slides...)

Rudy - that would be my guess too...cold weather has the seals and/or mechanism sticking. Take it into the garage and let it warm up...will probably close fine after that. The "anit trap bounce back" feature is working as intended...senses an obstruction (in your case increased closing effort) and reverses travel.

I'd probably just keep it closed anyway - if it's that cold outside...

Thank You guys for the reply.
The instruction seems to be easy though.
I'll try it tomorrow.
Thanks Rudy
