Sunroof or Logic7 - I don't live in California

Ask yourself:
Do I roll all the windows down often? Do I drive to work in a suit and tie and try to keep 'respectable' looking? Did I use other sun roofs when I had the chance? Do I listen to music every day? Every other? Will I drive the car more in the day or night?
For the majority of folks, L7 is fantastic.

Sunroof and shade only opened once, but I have beige interior so it is not dark.
L7 is good, but seems to be lacking something, I can't put my finger on it, guess I need to play with the settings.

Definitly the Sound System, it's much better and i regret don't having it on my 530I. The sunroof is almost useless. Driving with open sunroof is too noisy on the highways. And if you want to enjoy the sun, buy a convertible.
Or maybe BMW should offer the Skyview Option instead of sunroof.

The (USA) stock system is better than the "premium" E39 system. Personally, I feel the stock system is more than adequate, and didn't feel the L7 was worth the $1800US cost, especially since a good portion of that goes to the 6-CD changer (and I don't use CD's). But if you are an "audiophile," you should at least carefully compare them (out on the road, too) and see if the difference is significant. On the other hand, I live in AZ and generally never use the sunroof, though my 545 has a black interior.

The Logic 7 is pretty awesome...
We were able to listen to the basic sytem and the L7 side by side when we purchased. My feeling was if there was a noticeable difference we'd get the L7. We decided the difference was VERY noticeable, no comparison really.
Everytime I drive the car I'm thankful for deciding on the L7.
