Sunroof or Logic7 - I don't live in California

Got a dilema. Trying to spec a 535d Sport and can't choose between sunroof OR Logic 7. I'm going to get Carbon Black with black dakota leather and worry about it being too dark inside. I live in the UK so sun is at a premium. Is logic7 worth the extra ?500? Or ahould I spend it on the sunroof.

just my opinion, but for me, go w/ the Logic 7. You will use and enjoy that every time you're in the car. I have probably opened my sunroof a dozen times in the year I've owned the car. The difference between the "standard" system and the Logic 7 in well worth the money.

Go for the Logic7, no doubt. My sunroof is probably stuck shut from lack of use......

Well, personally, the 'standard' radio (which is, in fact, not the Euro standard) is awesome. Best system I've heard in any of my cars.

Echo that - California as well and never use the sunroof but the L7 gets a daily workout.....

[/quote]I second this .. I'm in the UK and have the dakota black interior... everytime i'm in the car i slide to sunroof cover back... you don't have to open the sunroof (if you have the glass sunroof, and it makes a big diff inside.
Besides that, the Hi-Fi option is a 10 speaker system that sounds fantastic. Yes the L7 is better, but in the UK i'd take the sunshine roof. IMO

We have similar climate to the UK. Never too hot or too cold. I hate using air conditioning and use the sunroof all the time from spring to fall (when it's not raining) except at high speed when I will close it and grudgingly turn on the A/C. I love driving to work along the beach on summer mornings with the sunroof open.
I personally think it is great and it isn't too noisy, sun is not normally in my eyes and nor does it give any pressure resonance that you can feel with your eardrums. It's not an option in Canada - all cars come with sunroof. If you lived in a hot climate, you probably wouldn't need it as you would prefer the A/C.
L7 is also great but I have never heard any of the other stereo options to compare it to.
