My Ride: On order 530D Platinum Bronze/Natural Brown Comfort seats, sunroof,PDC, Nav pro,Aux In,Xenons, Alarm, tinted glass. ETD 27.06.07
Default

The door bin does the job, but with comfort seats and the too low driver's armrest it blocks easy access to the bin to grab the glasses, and you have to lean away from it and probably take your eyes off the road. It raises a real moan of mine, there never seems to be anywhere to store stuff. The slot under the DVD drive is too small for much, the slot under the left of the dash is too small for anything. Other than that it's the centre console (iPOD and phone there) and the rear centre armrest which is OK but requires stopping to access it. You'd think that a motor designed for long distance comfortable but dynamic driving would have addressed these matters years ago. OK, got that off my chest

I don't know why there simply isn't an overhead sunglass compartment.

Someone should make an overhead sunglass mod.

Have you seen this stuff?

http://www.autobarn.net/jellystickypad.html

It's pretty cool...you can trim it into all sorts of shapes and sizes...cubby holder sized, nav screen size, next to shifter size (that's where my iPod lives...).

No residue, a little bit sticks like magic!
