My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
I took delivery of a new 320, about 20 years ago, at noon and left for a Friday afternoon picnic at Saratoga. Half way there, I ran into a storm with hail strong enough to crack my windshield, so you can imagine how scared I was of the body. Well, it came through just fine, and after the windshield was replaced, it was basically as good as new again.

Funny part was that I left my car on the less-populated open top floor as I figured it would be less likely to get door dinged! :'( They ended up replacing almost every body panel with a full repaint - cost several thousand dollars.
