My Ride: Alpine E60, '09 535i-Premium, Sport and Comfort Access PackageMods: Lux H8 V3 Angel Eyes, Weisslicht LED license plate lights, Interior LED lights, RPI Scoop, Matte Black Grills, Smoked LED side markers & side reflectors, 35% tint all around, and a 3
30% tint is not that dark. I did all my windows 35% and it helped with a lot of the glare but doesn't black out my windows like limo tint. If you have a tint shop near by go there and I'm sure they have cars there so you can see for yourself. I'd stay away from doing just a strip on the window, doesn't look good IMO.

sorry that you took the statement in my signature personally however i stand by it . Realistically though if sunglasses don't do a good enough job for you than tinting the windows is the only viable option that you have. They make tint in different shades so you don't have to go "gangster dark" and 30% tint is not very dark at all, i have 5% on my rear windows and 15% on the front doors...that's dark. The outside wind visors would detract from the look of the car i think and only tinting the upper portion of the window would look even worse. I find it hard to believe that you haven't had this issue with any other car that you have owned/driven, what did you do in the past?

This is funny on so many levels. Personally I can tell within seconds of talking someone or hearing them speak if it's someone I'm going to get along with or not.
Anyway OP, welcome to the forum.
As far as your issue. It depends what you want to do. When I had my windshield replaced due to a crack they put an anti-glare / infrared window that normally come with the M5 on my car. You can see from the photo. 30% on front isn't so bad but you need a specific tint for that and I wouldn't recommend only 30% all the way around personally but to each his own.
