Update:

They are fixing and cleaning everything. I am staying with the same car.

I need advice though, i was wondering. If i complain enough and say the car isnt the same, theres somethign wrong with it and continuously give the insurance grief, would they just swap it out after wards? im talking about if really become a nuisance.

Anyone?

ii cant believe that they would take it out.. and steam clean it!!! why dont they friggen replace the damm carpets! such bullshit with these insurance companies.. they dont budge unless you give them crap.. and i hope you dont have crap going on.. i hope nothing else is damaged.. what about electrical stuff.. the seats? etc? all is fine? god.. if they replaced the rugs, you'd have less to complain about, but i feel that the try to shortcut things and its gonna come back and bite them in the ass. sorry for venting.. it just pissed me off.. looked like you had a river flowing through your car, and there calling stanley fuc*ing steamer..... lol.. just doesnt make sense to me.. and that took them over 9 days?? wow insurance companies are sooo smart.. okay.. im done

Sorry to hear about what happened. Hopefully, they can get everything back to the way it was before.

Btw, what's your VIN #?

that sucks, I think in Illinois if carpet in your car gets wet then it's considered total loss.
I hope you'll get enough from insurance to put a nice down for a M5

How about woofer under the seat? the AC duct and power seat components? are they being taken care of along with carpet cleaning?
