So when you replace your battery do you need to keep a charge running through (via the 'under hood terminals'), or can you just completely disconnect and replace the battery.
I ask because i am worried about losing a radio code or any service interval information.

have to take off the battery harness which goes across the battery ---- undo neg. cable. then pos. cable, check the vent tube (if it has one); pull battery out. viola.... you car is back to normal and so is my car collection.....

Whats so entertaining about it? I know how to change a normal battery, but when it comes to more delicate tasks with extra sh** with sensors and explosive charges apparently, I'm going to find out how to do it properly or if there are any precautions that should be taken.
