Strange Noise when i open door locks...

Hi Guys
Did you guys ever notice a sort of sound/noise coming from the engine compartment as soon as you open ure door locks via the key?
Seems like something got activated inside. But this sound is different than the one that comes from my 3er.

This is asked a lot. You get sounds from all different areas of the car, upon unlocking with the remote, after locking and even after it's been sitting for a while AFTER locking...buzzing, whirring, hydraulic noises.
It's basically the car's way of waking up...certain systems, fuel pump, iDrive, etc. getting ready, or shutting down. You can use the search function to find more on these "noises."
