Be sure and hid the key or take it with you. Have a great trip. You could put a battery tender on the car, but I doubt seriously that the battery will go down in 3 weeks unless you have been having trouble with it.

Thanks, I havent had any trouble with the battery so I will take everyones sugestion and do nothing.

I noticed that when a car is parked for a long time, the first time it rolls out the driveway is always noisy and bumpy. Why? The tires have to get back into shape. But for 3 weeks, there should be a big deal. Heck, my rechargeable AA batteries hold charges for a couple of month. As your car (battery) is new, no need to worry.

Just done let anyone know when you are going on vacation since there are people that might try to steal or break into your house and steal your car too. Remotely possible but possible.

I thought about the theft issue, even though my neighbor is retired FBI and he watches my house when im gone, I decided to park my car at friends house in his garage. Just in case it doesnt start when I get back, is it bad to jump start these cars due to all the electronics, should I just call BMW assist?

Jump start is fine. Use the jump start terminals under the hood -- don't connect directly to the battery...

(You won't need to do any of this though...you'll be fine for three weeks!)
