there are a lot of you guys have coins in the ashtray. i've ordered the coinbox more than a month and it finally came last week but it was the wrong part, right part number though 
. the parts dept called me couple days ago but i was in the neighbor island. i went to the dealer pick it up this morning but that guy couldn't find it and couldn't call the mgr 
. i have to go back again next monday to pick it up 
. i'll post some pics after

Are you talking about the 'non-smokers kit" insert that replaces the ashtray insert, or have you ordered something different? I purchased the non-smokers kit. It is the exact same shape and size as the ashtray, but it has a ruberized surface. Nicer, since coins don't rattle, but no more room or functionality. For me, it was not worth the money.

Yes, been discussed, the space in the E60 is rather weak.? If you are not using the BMW phone in the cradle provided in the center console, have your dealer remove it for you.?
