Has anyone fabricated a stock M5 left side exhaust on a 530?? I was wondering what it would sound and look like...

Let me know your thoughts...

When i had the stock exhaust on my m5 it was extremely quiet. I doubt it will make a difference at all on your car. If you are interested in an exhaust that sounds great, will not result in a loss of power (like most exhausts) and want the highest proven gains get a RPI setup.

Yeah the RPI exhaust is on the top of my list. But i have a buddy that has a stock M5 exhaust laying around and I was thinking of possibly tossing it on my car.

It would be interesting to see if there would be any performance gains. If you do decide to put the exhaust on be sure to do a pre and post dyno to measure true losses/gains.

as I know it doesnt fit coz you have to change the place of your battery and cut for the right muffler,
post a video if you fix it

would definitely be interesting to see AND hear...
see if you can shoot a quick before and after video reving the engine while its stationary and maybe a couple of passes while someone else holds the cam.

The M5 doesnt have the same spare tire pan in the trunk. So it has the room for the mufflers on the passenger rear. If you look on your side you'll see the space taken up by the spare tire. The right side muffler will not fit. You can bolt in the Drivers side and see how that performs.

Borla, RPI etc.. have nice upgrades for you.
