Dear proud howners of a wonderfull car and the others, like me, just waiting to put their hands on it.
I've been reading, carefully your comments but, I'm affraid, I have not much to share with you unless my anxiety for the moment I can start exploring all features you've been talking about.
To be honest, it will be my first BMW ever, but, knowing how happy you are as users...
By the way, (please accept my appologies for the ignorance) I could'nt get the meaning of "BRA". Would one of you be so kind to give me a brief explanation of that word?

I think (and hope!) you mean a "bra: that goes on the front of the car, comes in several versions, to protect from rock chips and bugs while driving. Goes over the front bumper area and a little ways up onto the hood. Everyone I've ever seen on these forums talking about a bra has one of the clear versions, which is nearly invisible.

Thanks Kscarrol. Yes it should be that. Probably it's more the kind of acessory used in the US. Here in Portugal I have to admit I've never seen such a thing on a car. Thanks again...

This is the link to the product MOST people who install the clear bra will use:
http://www.3m.com/us/auto_marine_aer...o_markets/ppf/

This FAQ is pretty good as well:
http://cms.3m.com/cms/US/en/2-168/czuekFC/view.jhtml

3M also provides a 5 year warranty on the material to not yellow, crack, etc. From those I've spoken to who use this product they suggest replacing it every 3-4 years anyway though.
