Hallo Everyone. I have the M57 2008 engine in my E60, and it has started to give me problems lately which I want to resolve. I hope that the pros on here can give me advice:

1. There is a leak right at the back of the engine, somewhere below the intake manifold - where I placed the yellow text. There is a flat electrical component fixed in the same location there, and the water leak comes from behind this component. What is the easiest way to fix it? Must I take the engine out? Where exact could the water possible come from?



2, My engine has overheated, the yellow sign showed, I refilled with water, and from there I noticed a hollow sound in the engine and slight less power. After a week of driving, the engine would stop shortly after I have started in, and the idling would be uneven. Please share your thoughts.
