Hi everyone, in my E60 my front door speakers seem to start crackling if you turn the stereo up quite loud after around 3-4mins they start crackling, was jus wondering i was gussing maybe the standard amplifier maybe knackered? if u keep it at a quite low volume its fine till u turn it up a good bit

 

I had a similar problem on one of my other cars (not my 5) and it turned out to be a short in the speaker wiring. There was a crease in the wire which caused a crackle when the volume got too loud.
