Pls update your profile to show your car and options...

Do you have Logic 7? It could be either the processor or a speaker not working for a moment?

Eitherway, i assume it is the lower frequencies you cannot hear (sub under the seat) with the higher frequencies (door speakers) still coming through.

Like pinguhk says, is it the same on other CDs or always the same place on the CD?

It's called a breakdown. It's a part of a song where the beat stops.

OK.... but on a serious note, that's weird. Take it to the dealer.

CIP 23 corrects the following:

...
9. CCC: The radio audio cuts out briefly in FM mode only while driving. Vehicle already has the tuner profile
corrected as per SI B65 26 05 and fault code CCC-ANT "DACA" hardware reset fault is stored.
...

I don't know if it's related, but I would bring the car to the dealer to have it checked.

I've noticed something similar but not exactly. If I'm listening to a track but with the engine off and then I start the car (its a diesel) I hear the stereo cut out while starting up but not completely. Infact it seems like I continue to hear the beats but it looses the vocals. I'm pretty sure its the subwoofers playing but the other speakers cut out but could be wrong.
