Steering won't move

I've been looking for threads on this topic and can't seem to find any. My Steering wheel does not go up when I pull my key out. It used to do it but it doesn't anymore. If I manually move it up and down it does it, so that rules out the motor. Any help on this problem?

Have you tried starting the car with both of your keyfobs? If the steering wheel moves with only one of them, you just need to reset the memory for the other key, so that it remembers to do this as well - set it to on in the idrive, then set your seat, mirrors and press the memory buttons so as to remember all positions.
Sorry for not being much help, but I hope I did help at least somewhat.
GL and keep us posted! Craig (member craigm1841) had some issues with his steering wheel not moving at all when he started the car - you can ask him, but I'm not sure if he's fixed this for good.
