steering wheel

Post steering wheel

after taking out my szl unit to try and clean the optical disc because of steering light, i re asembeld everything. And now i have like 2 full rotations lock to lock. i can`t find out the problem.i have tried to re center the clockspring, my car is a bmw 535d e60 2007 pre face. thanks for any help

i have active steering and cruise control as i know of.
and ran a fault reading with a foxwell, it read out 613d AL: interlock: electrical fault

Need to check the 2 wires on the lock

On the steering rack. Always check connectors first before taking things apart. They are mostly the issue
