My 04 545 with 47k on it is going to the dealership tomorrow for a brake fluid flush (on them), and Ive noticed in the last few days Ive developed a shake in my steering wheel when I apply the brakes lightly around 40mph. I cant imagine its a warpped rotor because I havent stuffed the brakes to the floor a like 120mph ever. Want some imput to tell the SA to check,,,maybe ball joints or control arms need to be tightened?? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Warping will cause them to need turning -- the problem is that these days, most places just replace them, they don't turn them.

By the way, a rotor can warp without using the brakes as heavily as you described earlier...

im familar with warpping of rotors rudy, but i truley havent applied the brakes hard at all since ive owned the car. also doesnt the construction and design of the 545 rotors suppose to prevent this to the extreme?

Maybe wheels need to be balanced.

tire balance would be shaking at speeds not braking right?

yes. spot on.

everyone... IT IS THE ROTORS. stop the discussion about what it might be. IT IS THE ROTORS. this topic should shift to rotor related stuff, not more ideas of what it might be. IT IS THE ROTORS, this isn't even in question. it is very simple.
