Hi all few week ago the starter failed on my car iv just had it replaced but the car won't start.
The guy at the garage has said that he's had the car hooked up to the the computer to find out what the problem was it turned out the immobiliser was stopping it from starting. he's now disabled the immobiliser but the car still won't start he said the full pump and everything is pumping the fuel threw but the car will only start on easy start and thats it . has anyone had any problem like this and if so how did you solve it. please

Are there any diagnostic codes? What is the [problems/maintenance] history of the car?
You are saying the car starts with 'easy start'. Can you explain what that is and if the engine runs after that 'easy start'?

 

Hi its a 2006 503d m full service history etc . the car was running fine until a few week ago. i went o the petrol station to put some air in the tyre jumped back in it the car wouldn't start. i.e. everything came on the dash but when you pitied the start button nothing happend. so i got the AA out to it they said it was the stater that had failed . so got new one but now the car won't start it turnes over like it wants to but nothing happens. easy start is like safe mode as far as I'm aware
