The starter hangs up some times when starting the engine when its hot. It first started when my OEM battery was dying. I replaced the battery, and it does it much less, but it still there. How many of you guys have had yours replaced? I'm annoyed because lately it has been one thing after another. And of course, not an easy task to replace. Calls for 6.1 hours, all data says to remove the exhaust manifold and lift one side of the engine

I may just wait to the thing dies completely, or until i change out the clutch. Much easier with the transmission out. :thumbsdown:

 

I agree with your comments about there being one thing after another with this model. I have not had the problem with the starter motor but battery - replaced. Reversing sensors - off line. Active steering - intermitant fault. Coolant leak - persistant. Jerking through low gears - persistant. Low charge to battery - intermitant. As you see its anoying !!!
