I have a 2006 530d with 1500 km.

Since 5 days ago, about 30 seconds after I start driving it, It gives me the following signal

The first instances, I could make the message disappear by stopping, turning off the car, removing the key and then re-starting again.

But now, everytime I start the car, I get the same message.

Can someone help me how to solve this?

Thanks for your input.

My car started doing the same thing about six days ago. I believe it is related to the DSC module. My DSC also went out at the same time. Mine is going in for service next week.

what does this have to do with start assist?

Edit: Just saw the first pic (didn't load for the first time)

Did you try to see if the start assist didn't work?

I had the same thing happen on mine, but it went away magically after about 1.5 weeks. I had my car in for service afterwards (also a software upgrade) and it has never reoccured. I think most of the issues like that are software related.
