SSS Progman - Batttery charger?

I need to program my retro fitted heated seats.

I can use INPA no problems.

When trying to use SSS Im stuck on the 'Connecting' screen is this beacuse I have no power connected?

I have the followng battery charger will it do the job?

Also what to I select to programme the seats?

No sorry that will not work for anything. You need about 20 amps to keep the constant 13volt.
That's probably not why you're stuck at the connecting screen though. Does it even get to the CKM or Load Software/Retrofit path? If not then look in front of the program.

Not got to the CKM/load screen. Im using VM its most prob not set up right....

probably not. has nothing to do with battery voltage and for something simple like a retrofit it will not take but 15 minutes so there is no need for a charger anwyay.

Do I need to connect the ODB/usb com1 interface using VM ware as I can add a device or do i leave that in the hand of windows vista?

I read somewhere you keep ODB COM1 communication on the main laptop not from VMware. I have disabled windows firewall and now can PING 192.168.68.1 from VMWARE.

So hopefuly in the morning I will be able to connect SSS/progman no probs.

Disabled Windows firewall and third party firewall - ALL WORKING NOW
