There are many comments here regarding squeaks and rattles -- door seals (prior to replacement with the new and improved seals), rear seat cushion popping, rattles from the rear parcel shelf, etc.
Do these continue to plague the 2006 models, or are they now things of the past?

They only shows up after you sign paper work, driving for few thousand miles. At that time, it's too late to return the car

I've now driven over 2000 miles in my September 2006 model. There is only one rattle and that is from the buckle that holds the centre seat belt in place. One other issue I have is a loud 'ding' when the front suspension has to go over a slight bump at speed whilst turning. For example going over a low kerb at the entrance to a driveway. Other than that the car is perfect !

Mine has only one, but it's a doozie - I think the cable that operates the sunroof is a little slack, I hear it smacking right above my head when I go over bumps. Going to have that adjusted when I take the car in. Other than that, the car is pretty silent. On rare occasion I hear the rear sunshade rattle a bit, but that's to be expected from such a flimsy accordian-type assembly.
