Hello all, since a few weeks ago I have been noticing that while driving, when I turn the steering wheel to the right (even a very tiny bit such as when going through a curve) i hear a squeaking noise which is almost identical to the brakes squeaking noise. This does not happen when the car is switched on, but stationary. The noise seems to be coming somewhere from the right front of the car, i think it is from the wheel as it is identical to the brake squeaking noise. Any ideas what the issue might be? I removed the wheel to check for any damage - but none.

Does this apply to my case? The squeaking noise is not coming from the steering column but from the wheel and only when steering to the right.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose active steering bolt!
