Anyone else have this issue? It definitely comes from inside the passenger cabin, and it goes away after 10 or so seconds, but it's annoying as hell..

Try videotaping, post it in YouTube and post the link here. I am sure you might get more replies that way.

It's under CPO and maintenance, I'll ask the dealer to take a look when it goes in for service.

In the mean time, why not try pinguhk's solution. He uses Vaseline to solve the problem, let me know if it works.

What year? Type of seats?

Is it a squeaking noise or an electronic sound?

If squeaking and you have the articulating seat backs, I would look at the seat back where the plastic meets.

Could also be door seals. Plastic parts tend to stop squeaking after they warm up.

2004 545 with heated sport seats.

No, it's not seats, it's not moldings, nothing like that. It happens IMMEDIATELY when the car is started. Car is not moving, no one in the passenger seat.. It sounds like it comes from the passenger side in the dashboard.. ?

I don't know man, but i assumed he meant to wax it on where you hear the squeak.

If you hear it when the car is not moving, you have to ask yourself what is moving to create the squeak.

Belt, compressor clutch, somthing in the tranny, if auto?

Do you have a CD changer in the glove box? You say it is from the passenger side in the dashboard.
