you know what, i haven't tried that yet. The green setting has been so satisfactory i just kind of leave it there almost all the time. I guess i will have to play with it in S mode and sport mode to see the difference.

This is where I placed mine. Mostly use Green mode.

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.

I too always have mine on red mode, and sometimes in DS and sport mode (i have the SAT tranny). its great. some will say too jumpy, i don't think so.

Does the Sprint Booster do anything to the fuel consumption? What is this wire hanging and the little red light? Is it easy to install?

I have save abit on fuel
it is just plug and play
the lights are
no light off
green light fast
red light very fast
install in just 5 mins

I thought you would consume more fuel with the SB! But you are saving fuel instead, interesting!

yes when normal driving I don't have to put my foot down and just lightly touch it.
I save fuel on my last e60 too with SB v1.
I think it all down to the person, if they are light or heavy footed
