i know "spotted" posts are sad but I passed a black E60 (private reg plate) going over the M3 motorway this morning, looked like the driver was giving me a / wave but I noticed too late to respond, not used to drivers in the south east acknowledging each other, from now on I will wave at other E60s.

if it was you HI! I was the guy in the mystic blue E60 going the other way.

we need to get some sort of identifying marks / stickers for the E60 to show we use E60.net maybe some sort of tax disc holder that can be easily seen.....

Why do we have to wait a year. This will be RF by then. There have been some really useful Guests posts, but they a rare. Make them all register and provide details on the car and location. That will keep the smart asses away.

Lomag???? Please

Don't worry about it guys! I've come across more offensive comments from regular contributors (on other forums BTW - this one is really friendly!) Keep smiling - and hey Northern, keep your eyes peeled for an Oxford Green E60 (debadged). I'm not far from you and there aren't many that colour. It's a 530D with a TB so prepared to be wasted if you are following!! LOL

Hmm.. I'm sure on invision, admin's can view the IP (even with guests (?)) to track out smartasses like that guy. Not that it's important, but if any problem ever comes up, just IP ban the guest (and then the actual member will come crying "Why is my IP banned for some 'odd' reason"), or simply match the guest's IP with an actual member's and warn them.

Back to the original post:
It's entirely possible that it was someone you knew with an e60 . Or it's possible that he was waving at someone else? Heh, or he's an e60 enthusiast who'll wave at any other e60's .

hi guys,

i'm normally stuck on the M3 between 730am and 9am northbound winchester to bagshot and 6pm and 730pm southbound bagshot - Winchester

either being a sad git - going for max mpg - 39mpg seems about as much as I can stand before having fun with the monstor torque - traffic permitting!!

silver grey - but dirty (shame! ) 530dse!!

i - btw - if we had friends that understood our obsession why would we be here?

cheers!!

Dave

Only problem is, that you simply "CAN'T" ban IP's, since some IP's are proxys, etc... If you know how, you can switch your IP every couple seconds...
