Need to be careful with terms.

MSport suspension.
Sport Suspension.

IIRC Dynamic Drive isn't available with MSport suspension.

ABC
On the LCI models the Dynamic Drive option can now be specced on an M-sport model. At least in the configurators on bmw.co.uk and bmw.de
I think that was one of the changes when the LCI version came.

In the US we have different options. Dynamic drive is added to an Msport suspension with the sports package on the 550.

Sport suspension is harder struts and Dynamic drive.

This is part of the confusion on an international forum. People do not post their location or model specs. There is an 07 vs 08 550 thread. One poster says that there is no difference in ride. Well it turns out he is right. In his case (he is Canadian) he had Msport suspension in 07. A US poster can argue that the difference in 07 and 08 550 ride and handling are huge. He would be right too. Only available in US as of LCI
I am in the U.S. and drive an 07' 550 sport w/ dynamic drive and M5 19 inch wheels. This past Wed. I drove the LCI 550 hard. There is a difference in the suspension but it is not that noticable. The shocks and springs have been "recalibrated" to be a tad stiffer (which was much needed). The M sport suspension that is not available in the U.S. uses stiffer bushings throughout and stiffer springs and shocks than a U.S. sport package (100% certain up to LCI 550 sport). The only real question is whether the U.S. LCI 550 uses the same springs and shocks as a non-U.S. M sport. I would put any amount of money on it that the answer is no. 1) The difference between LCI and non LCI is very small; 2) BMW would advertise M involvement, not use "recalibrated" in the literature; 3) the M equipment was designed for use with a mechanical sway bar which operates much differently than dynamic drive; 4) I'd bet BMW still is concerned that a U.S. 550 M sport would cannibalize M5 sales (which it probably would with such a great sport automatic transmission).
