13.75" passenger side, 14" driver side.
6500 miles......550i Sport, '08.
To the OP, you never did give the figures off your car of your buddy's. What up?

Unlike the E39's, the E60 had the same ride hight for sport and non-sport. I think in '08/'07 MY (for the US Market) the M-Tech suspension first offered on the 550's gave the lower ride height.

The only thing we are lacking here is a measurement for a non-sport to prove or disprove, however we all know that the sport suspension is lower, so I am not sure if what you said could be right. Plus the OP is talking about an '04 545i sport being lower than later models with sport suspension....

This is been discussed before. In '04 there was no difference in the US models. Even in the 2007's (without M-Tech) sport and non-sport had the same ride height. The sports had DD and different wheels. The only difference in height is between the AWD and RWD models. Yes, typically, the sports do have a lower ride height but not on the E60's for some reason.
When someone posts a pic of their non-sport, it's always higher than a sport....with most people yelling, "Drop it!"
So let me get this straight....you are saying a RWD E60 US spec with NON-sport suspension sits at the same height as one with the SPORT suspension? I don't believe it, but I'll let others chime in.

My car is just under 13.5" right front and 13.75" left front.... the right rear is just over 13.75" and the left rear is just under 14"
SO I WAS RIGHT.
I asked the dealer if this was covered under my CPO awhile ago, and they said no. This is a pretty drastic difference to me. Now I understand why my car rubs pulling into driveways with the wheels turned.

100% BS. Long time BMW owners always ask me if I have ZSP since they notice my car sits lower than the typical BMW. A trained eye can tell.
