You guys are right, the comfort seats are very nice (I had them in my E39) and they are included in the 550 sport package now.
I also agree that the interior refinements are nice. The steering wheel's leather wrap is less "rubbery" as well as the center console trim, etc. I will say, however, that the pre-LCI interior never bothered me that much in the first place...

Rudy,
Your car is still listed online in Bobby Rahal's new inventory. I was browsing their new inventory and saw two 550i's listed. One is $64K, the other one is listed for $83,080 in Alpine White. I said, "That's Rudy's!" The price difference is what grabbed me. You sure you took it home with you????

They're probably automatically listed until delivery. Since my delivery was on Saturday, they'll probably take it out of inventory Monday when whomever is in charge of doing so is at their desk.
Don't forget that most of the Rahal dealerships in Pittsburgh were pretty "thinned out" this weekend because they had a huge presence at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. (In case anyone is interested in the PVGP, click here: http://pittsburghvintagegrandprix.co...te/default.asp )
Speaking of their inventory, they just got a really sweet looking Alpina B7 delivered to their lot a day or so ago. It looks really nice!
P.S. -- I almost didn't recognize you without Jack Lambert...

I do think that I'm already starting to adjust to some of the differences but I have to say that the car still feels "foreign" right now because it's so different from the SMG. (I drove the SMG a little bit today for kicks since I'll be without it forever in a few days and I have to say that it is truly a blast to drive that thing! Keep in mind that it's broken in and I'm able to get on it much harder, etc.)

Eventually I'll make it down to Rahal, probably for a future service issue. I just can't take Sewickley anymore. All I get are apologies from them and anxiety about their workmanship. I'll keep checking Rahal's used inventory to see how much they are asking for your old 545i. Take care and enjoy that sweet machine!

It was a time for a switch to good ole' Al Swearingen from Deadwood. Jack looked a little too grumpy lately!
