My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Also the car stays in manual mode with the sport button engaged

After nearly 2 years with SAT, I still appreciate it, and would miss it very much. I will state when used and driving in a manner that takes advantage of it, MPG suffers greatly, but hey... .
My opinion = SAT and Active Steering - best and first options to get - not to miss, as they help to make the car what it is.

My Ride: E61 535d carbon black m-kit panoramaroof with beige nasca interior and wood trim. 172m rims. DimSport Race, SB, SAT
I ordered the parts for the SAT and expect to do the conversion next week. I already love the way my 535d drives in DS mode so I'm a little sceptical about what SAT might add to the equation but I like the thought of rev matching and holding the gears longer. I don't have active steering or the dynamic suspension options, but my car is a touring with air-suspension in the rear. I wonder whether SPORT mode will affect steering and suspension on my car or whether that only applies to the aforementioned options?
