My Ride: 2008 E61 525DA, Beige bport leather seats, adaptive bixenons, PDC, NAV Pro, Carbon Black, M-Sport, Head-Up.
According to my local BMW dealer an upgrade to display charts on pre LCI nav buisness is not possible. 
I have been told, however, on the beforementioned norwegian BMW forum that it is still possible, so I have now sendt an inquiriy to BMW Norway. I am still waiting repaly from them.
