Hi,

I've got an E60 with the small screen(with business nav). I was in a friends the otherday, which had the bigger screen, and a splash screen/more colourfull menus. Is this a software update issue, or just because of the smaller screen?

Im not sure what software i have. It is probably a year scince last upgrade. If i were to upgrade to 16.2/17, what differences would I see?

Also, i'm considering getting an ice>link fibre when they are available. I have emailed dension, and they reckon it will be as easy to install as their wire ones. Does anyone have any views on this? WIll it need a re-code?

I recently got the pro and yes the screen display is more colourful than my old bus screen. Believe me though the pro is very slow to react IMHO to imputs whereas the bus is instant. The simpler display is due to it being bus.

Is it possible to upgrade to the bigger screen?

Is it a matter of just swapping out the screen and nav pc as with older BMs?

yes of course, but only the screen or you want to add another system?
as you mentioned PC. For me as I need it not only in car better is the protable gps.
