Speed of scrolling in iDrive/iPod interface?

I started my Ipod with playlists primarily and I believe I can then manage it up to 250.
Keep the playlists under 250 songs each is not hard at all.
If you keep it organized it should not be a problem.

Anyway - at bimmerfest I have read that it takes adapter about a minute to load data fro iPod and after caching it is faster than Apline or Pioneer. So maybe it is not that bad. Let us know how do you like yours.

I don't use playlists, I am always listening by album. I don't want to spend more time in iTunes than necessary, there are other things in life besides spending time calaloging the music

No one said it is ,,bad``. It?s great - that has been the overall consensus. Being able to scroll through info on the Onbord Monitor makes this a very attractive option. I?ve had it since early June by the way.
