Guys, please don't be stupid. OP - this is a great question if this was a private thread, not public. A lot of us can be haunted down later in the future by what we answered.
Why don't you make this an anonymous poll:
10-20
20-60
60-80
80-100
100-120
120-140 .. and so on?

Appreciate your standpoint. However, this has been badged as a hypothetical question and as such any response should be seen as hypothetical.
Furthermore, this thread gives users the chance to post actual race track speeds and speeds they have achieved on unrestricted roads such as some of those found on the German Autobahnen and Isle of Man.

(All Autobahn numbers)
158mph in my 2004 545i
170mph in my 1994 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo
186mph in my 1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (modified to 450bhp)
Never had anything that could reach the magic 200mph

The thing is, (in my experience anyway), you do not realize you are going that fast as the car just feels so planted and just wants to go further. Amen to German engineering!

That's true up to about 140mph. Beyond that, you really really know it. At 180mph you're going 3 miles a minute. Crazy stuff. I only did it once and for about 3 miles. I'd guesstimate that out of my last 100,000 miles driving in Germany, only about 30 miles were above 150mph.
