Why not take a multimeter and test each side while the speaker is on?
If you're wondering which of the 2 slots the plug goes in, I do believe it doesn't matter since the connections are in parallel.

But which of the two (two on each side per connector) is negative? They only go in one way, correct. I think Achtung stated solid brown is negative? We all have different colors so I am going to hope solid color is negative. I had to start from scratch and splice correct connectors back in.
