Canadian cars with the sport package (18" RFT) don't come with a spare tire (because of the RFT's). I got my dealer to order me the spare tire, tools and jack for my car just in case I ever decide to replace my RFT with "normal" tires or if I have a RFT in the shop, I can still drive my car.

Well, the tire doesn't seem to fit in the truck (under the truck floor).

Can someone please forward to me a clear picture of their spare tire in their US Car (while its in the truch) with RFT so I can show my dealer that it does exist!

Thanks in advance.

btw, is this the way it came from the dealer or did you remove the "flet" liner that around the tire (looks like its sitting on steal)?

That's how it comes--I just lifted the trunk false bottom to expose it. It's actually sitting on a big piece of styrofoam (same material the jack is sitting on).

Take explains it. Mine has a flet holding thingy which the tire is to large for, but if I remove the flet thing, it would look the same as your (at least I hope) ... I'll try it when I get home ...

Thanks again, just shows that members of the forum are better problem solvers than some dealers (and quicker too)

BTW, in your picture, you have a wire and plug, what is that? I didn't get anything like that with my tools.
