480 horse power and 550 nm from 2100 to 6000 rpm ? it will be interesting , considering the fact that
this beats the e55
[/quote]
i thought the rs6 had 450 bhp and rs6 plus had 480bhp.

as a matter of fact, the rs6 is the only turbo car that can maintain full torque above 5rpm, just for your reference

It couldn't have been an rs6. rs6 is a monster of a car. Only an m5 would have a chance and beat it.

On the way to work today I came upon an Audi RS6. At least that was what the badge on back indicated. We ended up at a stop light side-by-side, so I hit the DTC/DSC button, popped it into DS and and punched it on the green. I got a length ahead of the guy right away and stayed there up to a little over 60MPH (the speed limit) when the light ahead turned yellow. I eased off the gas and he kept going. He then hit the brakes and the car seemed to make smoke around the wheels. I guess he was impending lock-up and the pads were burning. We were side-by-side-again, so I tried to run him a second time, but he declined. So it was just a rebadged S6, right? An RS6 with a 0-60 of around 4.6 ought to trounce a 545.

Yes they are but in a way there are little chances to run over an RS6 let alone a plus. I he really met an rs6 i doubt it was a plus. I have never seen one with my own eyes. They were like limited edition if i recall correctly.

/off-topic ive raced a gemballa gtr600 cayenne turbo, a kleemann e55 amg, the new 997 carrera s , and a tech-art 530bhp turbo.. we have great cars in bulgaria
The greatest kill recently was an M6 (yep you read it right) .. the guy was 17year old and was driving his dads car so tooo scared to do anything, plus it had less than 1000km
But it was well funny , cause he had two great looking girls in the car and thought he was the daddy, you could feel his confidence sink so low... haha

I believe the RS6 makes those numbers via brake torquing off the line. He might have been surprised by the fact that you were going and then hit it. I'd have to pull up my C&D issue and see what the street start (5-60) is on a RS6. There is a chance that he was about to blow by you.
BTW, you should give ricracing a brake as the only S6 we had here was an Avant - so if it wasn't an RS6, it was a plain old A6 4.2 and those things are slow
