On the way to work today I came upon an Audi RS6. At least that was what the badge on back indicated. We ended up at a stop light side-by-side, so I hit the DTC/DSC button, popped it into DS and and punched it on the green. I got a length ahead of the guy right away and stayed there up to a little over 60MPH (the speed limit) when the light ahead turned yellow. I eased off the gas and he kept going. He then hit the brakes and the car seemed to make smoke around the wheels. I guess he was impending lock-up and the pads were burning. We were side-by-side-again, so I tried to run him a second time, but he declined. So it was just a rebadged S6, right? An RS6 with a 0-60 of around 4.6 ought to trounce a 545.

Hard to believe it was an RS6, or at least a healthy one.
I have driven an RS6 and it would definitely spank my 545 - that car is brutal! I have seen a 0-60 best time of 4.2 seconds (4.2-4.4 range) for the RS6 vs. a 0-60 best of 5.2 for a 545i.
But it doesn't have the highly desirable iDrive

Well that makes it very clear. I hope the guy was very embarassed. He should have known better than to go against me and risk exposing his counterfitting efforts.

as a matter of fact, the rs6 is the only turbo car that can maintain full torque above 5rpm, just for your reference
480 horse power and 550 nm from 2100 to 6000 rpm ? it will be interesting , considering the fact that
this beats the e55

It couldn't have been an rs6. rs6 is a monster of a car. Only an m5 would have a chance and beat it.

and in theory it should be faster.
The guy picked out his wrong stick while launching

There are not too many people that really can handle a
stick shift, so that it would be faster than a auto!

It could have been a RS6 with manual transmission
and in theory it should be faster.
