Dump - I looked under the dashboard in the footboxes (both driver and passenger) - So, on a 2005 545i, where is the return air intake?

My car is 7 months old and started to get this smell also. After reading many threads, I came onto one that stated the Auto recirculate stays in recirculate all the time in humid areas, which contributes to this problem. So I switched the A/C to fresh air all the time and after 3-4 days, the smell is completely gone. I was going to buy a a product called zonium? (spelling?), but looks like I wont need it.
I had a bad habit of always leaving te A/C on recirculate because it makes it come out stronger...that was the problem.
