What can I say, they are back! This happens everytime during the summer when it gets really hot... the static noise starts softly and progressively gets louder until all you can hear is the static.

I tried to get it fixed last year but (as always) the dealer could not reproduce the issue. This time, however, I was able to get a video of the problem so I have something to show the dealer when I bring it in.

You mentioned parts? So this is not a software problem? My dealer is Tulley BMW.

If I remember correctly, my SA said Progman 25 addresses the static radio issue....do a search.

I have same problem now. After driving my car for an hour with a/c on the radio will cut off after the static noise. I hope it will be fixed when I take my car to dealership to fix some other minor problems.
