SoS... error code P1727 and P0335 help..
I have a 2007 550i base model 118k miles. Riding down the hwy at 70mph and the car goes into limp mode first time ever. So i freaked a lil and pull over and turn the car off and back on its still in limp mode so I slowly dive to a nearby by Autozone for a code check and p0335 (crankshaft position sensor A circuit malfunction) followed by p1727 error code also popped up. My tranny was serviced at 101k miles. So before I go to the stealership can anyone chime in so I have a idea of any extras they might lead me into??? Thank you in advance

Let me guess you tried to push it and the trans said no. Is it back to normal? Just change the sensor and you should be fine.

Yes it's back to normal for now. But I'm also driving a slower route to work but I'm going to take it in for that sensor work. Did this happen to you? What was the cost?

No it hasn't happened to me. It has happened to someone I know. I do not know how much it will cost. I do all my work myself. The part cost around $120 BMW or $50 OEM.
