is it bad for the engine or car if I drive without the washer fluid in the tank other than the warning sign on the display? someone can help me out. newbie here once again!

its just washer fluid.. relax and drive..

On a more serious note... the correct answer was allready given on the first page: You are assumnig correctly that you are running out of washer fluid.
