What i can see here is an ungly trunk finisher (add-on) with a key hole now.
Bumper is M-like wit a flat lower finish and new reflectors.
Mirrors are the same and tailights are not LEDs as well ...at least in the pic
I think the big difference is in the interior, with the re-designed door panels, lighting, shift lever, etc
All I can see is

- the bottom edges of the boot-lid (=trunk finisher?) look to be more flush that concave.
I think this is great because currently, the 5 series can look like the boot is still open (particularly on the lighter colours where you can see the cutlines)

- the key hole has always been there but it may have been moved a little

- I like that M style rear-bumper and think many others will as well. The M-sport is nice but the suspension is not suitable for bad roads and carrying passengers

- It's hard to tell if there are LEDs in the tail-lights. Nowadays, BMW seems to like mixing tungsten & LEDs in the lighting system and they do that very well. Looks like they went crazy on the facelift of the E46 3 series coup? and discovered that it looked a bit cheap and wasn't very effective/safe (too dim from an angle, from extreme angles barely visible, way too bright when straight on)

- I looking forward to a slight interior refresh, particularly those door grabs. The current ones look very avant garde but also look flimsy and unergonomic. I hope they add E92-style LED ambient strip lighting hidden underneath the upper new door panels

I'm talking about compared to the current OEM add-on trunk lid finisher.
