I posted my '04 530 on craigslist for $16 and got about 25 emails on it...got $17k and bought this white 550i from a dealer in CA. It wont be here for 2-3 weeks, but it should be worth the wait! 
Anyone ever ship a car across the US? I am using Reliable Carriers (saw their ad on HD TV, while watching the Mecum auto auction) and its about $2100 with 3 week window...seems like 3 years...

Congrats on the MAJOR upgrade. 550s are fantastic cars. They are the perfect daily driver IMHO -- fast and smooth. Beautiful looking one you got.
