I posted my '04 530 on craigslist for $16 and got about 25 emails on it...got $17k and bought this white 550i from a dealer in CA. It wont be here for 2-3 weeks, but it should be worth the wait! 
Anyone ever ship a car across the US? I am using Reliable Carriers (saw their ad on HD TV, while watching the Mecum auto auction) and its about $2100 with 3 week window...seems like 3 years...

I will give you some info for shipping your car (I've shipped 3 cars in the past 3 years coast to coast).
I paid $600 or $700 (open container).

They also washed my car when I picked it up.
If my memory serves me right, you can also track it while en route.
