1. Add digital speed readout in center of dash.

2. Show which gear you're in in D/DS auto modes, not just M.

3. Turn off the effin' Passenger Airbag warning light.

4. Allow driver control of seatbelt warning chime.

5. Add additional I-Drive button for "Back" function, not just return to menu.

6. Not software, but add steering wheel shifters (Tiptronic-style) to Steptronic.

I think if you get the HUD option you should either have the i-Drive in fron of you or something cooler. After all you can almost see everything on the HUD or i-Drive. Something different

i think the hud will soon to be standard since it's more a safety feature than a cool gadget. well, at least that's what i hope .

I don't have voice rec, so I'd like to be able to reassign the button on the steering wheel to something else. Mute audio maybe.

How about a dvi/s-vhs input selectable from the entertainment menu, working together with the existing (optional) audio aux input ?

I wouldn't even bother if it cuted the image above 10 Km/h, as with the tv tuner.

You can program a steering wheel button to mute audio.

Not software but move the steering wheel buttons to the downward slope of the trim and in place put a small button on each side so that the horn could be operated with your thumbs and w/o taking your hands off the steering wheel.

My '97 Accord has them and it works very well.

On some occasions, when rain is on the way, it would be great to have a downloadable view of a weather radar on the iDrive screen at the press of a button. With the built in cell phone, it would be possible.

Sometimes if I'm on the way to an outdoor event, or planning the rest of the day, I'd be able to make decisions en route with this kind of feature.

Or for that matter, pocket PC web browsing for movie theater times and schedules, etc. Or sports scores, etc.
