Is there a way through iDrive or something that you can find out what software version your e60 has? Any way to figure thios out without a trip to the dealer?

Thanks

I for one am not really bothered which version my E60 has, based on numerous problems when updates have been made to my desktop PC and mobile phone. The only time that I would be interested is if I had a problem that BMW said needed an update to resolve.

I thought this displayed the version of software of one particular component and not the entire PROGMAN level of the car.

your correct bruce, the only true way to see your software version is to ask at the dealer
